Display freezes
Hi, My win98 machine freezes when I leave it unattended. The result is a black screen with a small flashing white cursor in the top left hand corner. Crt-alt-delete will not reactivate. The machine must be powered off and restarted. Screensaver is selected as 'none' in display settings. Hope someone can help.

I can go to the display settings window and set everything up for the 2 monitors. As soon as I click OK or Apply it freezes and I have to reboot. Both adapters are on IRQ 11 and I can't change that. I am wondering if that is the problem or if anyone has any ideas. Thanks.

Any time I shut down the system freezes, it especially bad when its restarting from a program install. I messed around with some of the display settings but nothing changed with it. I updated to XP (his doesnt have internet access either) no help.
